Noise Bylaw Temporary Exemption Permit
In accordance with the applicable Electoral Area Noise Regulation and Prohibition Bylaws, the Regional District may grant a temporary noise exemption for construction noise and similar activities.
To complete an application, please fill out the Noise Bylaw Temporary Exemption Permit Application Form.

The fee for a Temporary Exemption Permit is $75.00.

Under "Purpose of Payment" please select "Misc payment" and in the "Comments" section please reference the civic address of the property that the permit is to apply to and that the fee is related to a "Noise Bylaw Temporary Exemption Permit".

Noise Regulation and Prohibition Bylaw Review - Current Status
In 2021, the Regional District commenced a reiew of the Electoral Area Noise Regulation and Prohibition Bylaws with an objective of consolidating these into a new single, new bylaw. It is anticipated that this project will be completed in early 2021.
