Quarterly Billing

Quarterly billing distributes costs more evenly throughout the year, making utility charges more manageable and predictable and allowing customers to budget in smaller increments.

Why am I receiving an invoice now when the RDOS previously sent invoices in June?

RDOS has moved from an annual billing cycle to quarterly billing for your area
You will now receive 4 invoices each year - February, May, August, and November

Why did the RDOS change to quarterly billing?

To reduce the financial burden on customers – smaller, more frequent payments are easier for many households to manage.

Can I pay the entire year in full now?

Yes. You may pay the entire year in full now. Simply multiply the amount on your first quarterly invoice by four to get the total annual amount.

Overview

Upgraded in 1999, the Olalla Water System is located 45 kilometres southwest of Penticton.

The water source is a deep groundwater well, which currently supplies water to roughly 200 properties.

The 1999 upgrading project included the development and construction of a new well supply pump station and concrete water reservoir and the replacement of some of the water distribution mains.
