The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) is closely monitoring conditions across the region as the current weather system moves through the area.

While lightning and changing weather conditions can result in small wildfire starts, there is no action required by residents at this time. The RDOS Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) will continue to monitor the situation and maintain communication with emergency management partners, including the BC Wildfire Service (BCWS).

Residents and visitors are encouraged to remain aware of current conditions and follow official sources for information. Should additional actions be required, notifications will be issued through Voyent Alert! and other official RDOS communication channels.
