The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen Emergency Operations Centre (RDOS EOC) continues to monitor the Placer Creek Wildfire (K60922) in Electoral Area “H”. No action is required by residents or visitors.
On Tuesday, July 15, 2025, the RDOS RESCINDED Evacuation Alerts for the August Lake Wildfire (K60923) in Electoral Area “H” and the Lower Young Creek Wildfire (K50911) in Electoral Area “G”.
Please watch for BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) crews and local firefighters. If you are camping or recreating, please be ready to leave the area if conditions change.
Get your grab-and-go bag, a small emergency kit that is easy to take with you.
The RDOS will continue to keep you informed as new information becomes available.
