Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) Activated
The RDOS EOC activated on Sunday, November 14, 2021, due to flooding in the region. The EOC is working to ensure the safety of residents, provide the necessary supplies, and assist with recovery efforts. For information, please visit https://emergency.rdos.bc.ca or call the EOC at 250-490-4225.


Alternative Approval Process (AAP)
Electoral Area G Cemetery Contribution Service Establishment Bylaw No. 2943, 2021.
The Area Director would like the ability to contribute funds to cemeteries operating within the requirements of the Cremation, Interment and Funeral Services Act within Electoral Area G. If you object to the adoption of the bylaw, sign an Elector Response Form and submit (with original signature) to the RDOS office before the deadline of Monday, December 6, 2021 at 4:30 pm.

Oliver and District Arena Loan Authorization Bylaw No. 2844, 2019
Although the Oliver and District Arena has a serviceable life of 75 years, key components have reached the end of service life and are failing. In order to maximize the efficiency and life span of the facility, these components should be replaced. If you object to the adoption of the bylaw, sign an Elector Response Form and submit (with original signature) to the RDOS office before the deadline of Monday, December 6, 2021 at 4:30 pm. Electoral Area D Service & Boundary Configuration Study

RDOS Inaugural Board Meeting

The RDOS Board of Directors held elections on November 4, 2021.
Director Mark Pendergraft, Electoral Area A (Rural Osoyoos) is elected 2022 RDOS board chair.
Director Spencer Coyne, Town of Princeton (mayor) is elected 2022 RDOS board vice-chair.
Director Martin Johansen, Town of Oliver (mayor) is elected 2022 OSRHD board chair.
Director Suzan McKortoff, Town of Osoyoos (mayor) is elected 2022 OSRHD vice-chair.
