The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) is continuing to engage Electoral Area “D” residents, park users and other interested parties on the Electoral Area “D” Parks Plan.    

To facilitate public involvement and gather feedback on the proposed plan, the RDOS is planning a second open house event to present concept plans that have been developed based on the input received from the community. 

“The RDOS appreciates residents and park users in Electoral Area “D” who took the time to share insights during the initial phase of the project,” said RDOS Chair Mark Pendergraft. “Your continued involvement is crucial to ensuring the Electoral Area "D" Parks Plan reflects the community's needs and values.” 

The Open House is planned for Thursday, November 30, 2023, between 6:00 and 8:00 pm at Okanagan Falls Elementary School Gym, 1141 Cedar Street, Okanagan Falls. Residents, park users, and other interested parties are invited to attend the open house and provide feedback.

Agenda: 

• Presentation of conceptual plans: showcasing proposed plans, highlighting how they align with the community's vision for parks. 

• Interactive discussions: engage in open dialogues, ask questions and provide input to refine and finalize the conceptual plans.
