The Union of BC Municipalities (UBCM) convention is underway at the Victoria Conference Centre. The annual convention is taking place from Monday, September 22 to Friday, September 26, 2025.

Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) directors and senior staff have six confirmed meetings with provincial representatives, including the Honourable Brittny Anderson, Minister of State for Local Governments and Rural Communities, on Monday, September 22.

In addition to meetings with provincial representatives, RDOS attendees are participating in plenary and networking sessions, workshops, and presentations. The annual UBCM convention also provides opportunities for local governments to express concerns, share their experiences and take a united position as part of the resolutions process.
