Nomination packages available for 2026 RDOS Electoral Area Director elections

Individuals interested in serving their community as an elected official are encouraged to consider running for one of the nine (9) Electoral Area Director positions in the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS).
The general local election will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
Residents interested in running for office can obtain nomination packages beginning at 9:00 am on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
Packages can be obtained:
- In person at the RDOS Office, 101 Martin Street, Penticton
- Online on the General Local Elections project page at rdosregionalconnections.ca.
The RDOS Board is comprised of elected directors representing nine electoral areas and member municipalities throughout the region. Electoral Area Directors play an important role in representing residents and guiding regional decision-making on local services, infrastructure, and community priorities.
