The Mariposa Park Development Plan has been deferred due to budget constraints. Mariposa Park is located in Greater West Bench within Electoral Area “F”. Planned work for phase one of the project included construction of a perimeter pathway, irrigation upgrades, and accessibility and landscape improvements.

The development project is based on a 2021 community-informed conceptual plan. Work was scheduled to begin in November of 2022, but unexpected weather delays pushed the start date to early spring 2023.

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) will continue exploring grant opportunities and other funding options for this project. Work is anticipated to resume once funding becomes available.
