The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) is encouraging residents to prepare for the 2026 General Local Elections by confirming their voting area and eligibility before heading to the polls.

General Voting Day will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, with an advance voting opportunity available on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

One of the easiest ways for residents to determine where they can vote is by using the RDOS Property Search Mapping Tool. By entering a property address, residents can identify their Electoral Area and confirm where they may be eligible to vote.

Information about voting locations, candidates, voter eligibility, and election resources is available through the RDOS Regional Connections General Local Elections page.

If you're planning to vote this October, please take a few minutes now to check your voting area and review the available election information. The Property Search Mapping Tool makes it easy for residents to find the information they need before election day.

Advance voting locations will be available for Electoral Areas “A”, “B”, “E”, “F”, “H”, and “I”:

• Electoral Area “A”: Sonora Community Centre, 8505 68th Avenue, Osoyoos
• Electoral Area “B”: Victory Hall, 427 7th Avenue, Keremeos
• Electoral Areas “E”, “F” and “I”: RDOS Office, 3547 Skaha Lake Road, Penticton (new location)
• Electoral Area “H”: Princeton & District Community Skills Centre, 206 Vermilion Forks Avenue, Princeton

Residents can also access the Declaration of Candidates, election FAQs, information for non-resident property electors, school trustee election information, and other election resources through the RDOS Regional Connections General Local Elections page.
