INFORMATION UPDATE

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) is providing an update that the volunteer FireSmart committee in Hedley is no longer active.

The RDOS will continue to provide FireSmart services in Electoral Area “G” and remains committed to supporting residents in reducing wildfire risk. This includes maintaining access to FireSmart programming, resources, and trained Wildfire Mitigation Specialists within the community.

The RDOS will work collaboratively with local emergency services partners and the Upper Similkameen Indian Band to support FireSmart initiatives in Hedley and identify next steps for the program.
