Electoral Area D Boundary Options Survey

News Article

The next step in the Electoral Area D Service and Boundary Configuration Study is the Boundary Options Survey.

After reviewing input and analyzing feedback from committee meetings, Open Houses, Panel Discussion and other community input, the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) is hosting an online survey to determine a preferred potential boundary for incorporation.

Residential properties in Electoral Area D will be receiving paper packages with informative materials and background information as well as presenting the five boundary options as recommended by the Electoral Area D Service and Boundary Configuration Study Committee.

“Now is the time for the residents and property owners in Electoral Area D to have their say about potential boundary options,” says RDOS Chair Mark Pendergraft. “The results of this survey will help the Committee make a recommendation to the RDOS Board as a potential boundary for consideration as part of the next potential phase in the incorporation study process.”

The survey is available at www.rdosregionalconnections.ca and will be available until Friday, June 10, 2022.

Paper copies of the survey can be completed and returned to either the RDOS Office at 101 Martin Street, or at the Economic Development Office in OK Falls at 5350 9th Avenue.
