Amended Building Permit Fees Effective April 1, 2021
News ArticleThe Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) Board of Directors annually reviews its Fees and Charges Bylaw in accordance with the Local Government Act in order to reflect cost recovery for services and information provided.
Building permit fees and construction valuations have remained the same for several years and required amendments in order to recover costs and align with market values. These amendments are set to come into effect on April 1, 2021. All applications for building permits received after March 31, 2021 will be subject to increased building permit fees as provided in Schedule ‘A’ below.
