PUBLIC HEARING Lot 48D, Plan 1729, District Lot 2450S, SDYD (adjacent to 6886 Highway 97), Electoral Area “C”
OCP & Zoning Amendment Bylaws The amendments are being sought in order to formalize the encroachment of the adjacent vehicle repair use at 6886 Highway 97. Amendment Bylaw No. 2452.24, 2024, proposes to amend Schedule ‘B’ (OCP Map) of the Electoral Area “C” Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 2452, 2008, from Agriculture (AG) to Industrial (I). Amendment Bylaw No. 2800.32, 2024, proposes to amend Schedule ‘2’ (Zoning Map) of the Okanagan Valley Zoning Bylaw No. 2800, 2022, from Agriculture One (AG1) to General Industrial (I1). This bylaw may also be inspected at the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen office at 101 Martin Street, Penticton, BC, on weekdays (excluding statutory holidays) between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. up until the close of the public hearing on Thursday, March 21, 2024. Anyone who considers themselves affected by Amendment Bylaw No. Amendment Bylaw No. 2452.24, 2024 and Amendment Bylaw No. 2800.32, 2024, can present written information to the Regional District prior to or at the public hearing and may also speak at the public hearing. No letter, report or representation from the public will be received after the conclusion of the public hearing.
