Candidate Information
The general election is set for Saturday, October 20, 2018 to elect one Director for each electoral area.
You may run for local government office if you:
- are a Canadian citizen;
- are at least 18 years old on election day;
- have lived in BC for at least the last 6 months; and,
- have not been disqualified from voting in a BC local election.
You do not have to live in the jurisdiction in which you are running for office.
The official list of candidates will be announced September 20, 2018.
Candidate Nomination Package
Nomination packages including information and nomination forms are available by downloading or at the Regional District Office located at 101 Martin Street, Penticton, BC beginning July 27, 2018 during regular office hours.
