At its meeting of March 2, 2023, the Planning and Development (P&D) Committee of the Board considered options related to Alternative Housing Strategies, one of which included reviewing the current zoning regulation that limits “mobile homes” to parcels greater than 4.0 hectares in area.
In response, it is being proposed to amend the Okanagan Valley Zoning Bylaw No. 2800, 2022 by allowing an "accessory dwelling" use to be in the form of a "mobile home" (i.e. CSA Z240) on parcels greater than 1.0 hectare in area.
