West Bench Water
Water is pumped from Okanagan Lake and chlorine gas is injected into the system 20 minutes before it reaches the first customer. The water system services approximately 1100 residents and will be on a Boil Water Notice until the water upgrades are completed. The RDOS has secured water from the City of Penticton's water treatment facility and once the new booster station is built in 2013 the Boil Water Notice will be removed.
