COVID-19 Information

The RDOS would like the community to Stay Safe, Stay Connected and Stay Active.

On 2020 November 23, there was a province-wide restriction update by the Provincial Health Officer (PHO), directing the temporarsuspension to the following activities:

-       all group fitness activities (Yoga, Hot Yoga, Spin Class, HIIT, Martial Arts, Gymnastics, Dance Studios, Pilates, Strength and conditioning)

This temporary suspension is effective immediately.  Participants registered in affected programs will be contacted. 

All registered sport activities (such pickleball and badminton) are permitted to continue operating under ViaSport’s Return to Sport Phase 3 guidance.

A reminder that masks are now required for everyone in all public indoor settings and workplaces.

The Recreation team continues to monitor all PHO restrictions and sector guidelines to ensure that our COVID-19 safety plans are in compliance with orders and best practices.
