Zoning amendments are being sought in order to update the regulations and mapping for floodplains associated with Park Rill Creek, Horn Creek and Kearns Creek.
Amendment Bylaw No. 2800.61, 2026 proposes amendments to Section 10.0 (Floodplain Regulations) of the Okanagan Valley Zoning Bylaw No. 2800, 2022 in order to update existing floodplain regulations associated with Park Rill Creek, Horn Creek and Kearns Creek and include a new floodplain map to the Zoning Bylaw based on new mapping produced by Northwest Hydraulic Consultants Ltd. as part of the Park Rill Creek, Horn Creek and Kearns Creek Flood Mapping Report (2022).
The Regional District is holding three Public Information Meetings for this project. If you would like to attend, please refer to the following meeting information:
