INFORMATION RELEASE

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) is completing planned improvements to the north entrance of Garnett Family Park, located in the Heritage Hills neighbourhood of Electoral Area “D.” The upgrades will create a more welcoming and accessible entry point for park users, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.

Planned improvements include:

  • Asphalt accessibility pathway connecting existing pavement surfaces
  • Grading and resurfacing of the parking area using recycled asphalt
  • Installation of additional solar light bollards to match existing fixtures
  • Placement of parking curbs
  • Reconfiguring and adding signage

This project will enhance accessibility and improve the overall experience at Garnett Family Park for all community members. Park visitors are asked to please follow all on-site safety signage during the construction period.
