- January 12, 2024 RDOS RFP - Design and Build - Electrical Upgrade and Installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) is seeking a qualified vendor to design electrical upgrades and install Level 2 and Level 3 chargers as part of the RDOS EV Charging Infrastructure Project funded by the Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure (ZEVIP) Project.
- January 8, 2024 RDOS RFP - Supply and Operation of Level 2 & Level 3 Chargers for Electric Vehicles The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) is seeking a qualified vendor to supply and operate 18 * Level 2 and 4 * Level 3 chargers as part of the RDOS EV Charging Infrastructure Project funded by the Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure (ZEVIP) Program. The installation of EV charging infrastructure is in alignment with RDOS’s policy and plans, as well as the plans of municipalities and surrounding areas in the Thompson-Okanagan Region. By installing the proposed EV chargers, the Regional District will be supporting the transition to electric vehicles. The deadline for submission of the RFP is February 2, 2024.

RDOS RFP - Design Build Services for Apex Fire Hall
The RDOS seeks to retain, through a qualitative Request for Proposals (RFP) process and evaluation, a Design
Build team consisting of Design Build Construction Contractor, Prime Consultant (Architect) and associated sub
consultants and sub-contractors to design and deliver a new Fire Hall (described in greater detail in 3.4 Project
Scope.) The Proposals will be evaluated for the selection of a Design-Builder with the intent to enter a contract

(“the Contract”) to provide Design-Build services for the new Fire Hall. This is a Request for Proposals (RFP) and
not a contract tender call. No contractual tort or other legal obligations are created or imposed on the RDOS by
this RFP or by submission of any Proposal or by consideration of, or failure or refusal to, consider any Proposal
by RDOS. Further, the Agreement, when executed, is the sole source of any contractual obligation on RDOS with
respect to the Project. All complete Proposals received in response to this RFP will be evaluated and the Proponent
judged to be the Preferred Proponent will be selected to enter negotiations with RDOS for the delivery of the
Project. -

RDOS RFP - Community Wildfire Resiliency Plan - Electoral Area "A"
The Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen is requesting submission of Proposals from Register Professional Forester (RPF), with qualified experience and knowledge in wildfire risk assessment and resiliency planning, to develop a Community Wildfire Resiliency Plan – Electoral Area “A”.
The finished project will give the Regional District – Electoral Area “A” the mechanism for local wildfire risk reduction planning through the assessment of the seven disciplines of FireSmart: (1) education, (2) vegetation management, (3) legislation, (4) building considerations, (5) interagency cooperation, (6) cross-training, and (7) emergency planning.
