The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen Emergency Operations Centre (RDOS EOC) is in regular communication with BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) to assess the status of all Evacuation Alerts and Orders within the RDOS. No changes to Evacuation Orders or Alerts within the RDOS have been made today at this time. Ongoing Evacuation Alerts and Orders remain in effect due to the Keremeos Creek wildfire. Current information below.

The RDOS, in conjunction with the Village of Keremeos, has temporarily opened an Emergency Support Service (ESS) Reception Centre at the Keremeos Victory Hall at 427-7th Avenue. The Keremeos Reception Centre will be open on Sunday August 7, 2022 until 5 pm. The Keremeos ESS Reception Centre will be open at 9 am on Monday August 8, 2022.

The City of Penticton ESS Reception Centre at Princess Margaret Secondary School at 120 Green Ave, Penticton is closed Sunday but will reopen at 9 am to 5 pm Monday August 8, 2022.
