Kaleden Parkland Acquisition Loan Authorization Bylaw No. 2915, 2020 – Sickle Point

The alternative approval process (AAP) for Kaleden Parkland Acquisition Loan Authorization Bylaw No. 2915, 2020 – Sickle Point concluded on February 8, 2021. The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) received 805 Elector Response Forms from qualified electors in the designated service area.

An AAP requires 10 percent (182) or more of the qualified electors to sign and submit response forms in opposition to the proposed initiative to require the RDOS to obtain assent of the electors in order to proceed.

Results of the Sickle Point AAP and potential next steps will be discussed at the February 18, 2021 board meeting.
