RDOS Recreation transitioning to PerfectMind Software beginning March 2022

News Article

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) is transitioning to a new recreation software system, PerfectMind, beginning March 2022. This new system will enable the public to register for programs, buy facility memberships, book courts, parks and facilities and provide a one-stop shopping experience to explore recreation events across the regional district.

Once the system is launched, users will be prompted to register through links provided on the RDOS Recreation webpage. Previous BookKing users will need to re-register with the new program. To help with the transition, RDOS recreation staff will be offering “how-to” workshops for those interested in learning how to purchase memberships and register for programs or book facilities.

Several municipalities in the South Okanagan are currently using PerfectMind for their recreation needs, and the RDOS recognizes the benefits and service improvements they have experienced. While RDOS staff will work to ensure smooth implementation, some corrections are anticipated over the first year. Recreation staff appreciate the public’s patience with the transition and look forward to providing improved service and registration opportunities as the RDOS continues to strive for “healthy individuals and communities.”
