EOC Update: Evacuation Alert issued for Electoral Area C and Town of Oliver - July 19, 2021 10:30 pm

News Article

Pursuant to the Emergency Program Act, an Evacuation Alert has been issued by the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) due to the Inkaneep Creek wildfire in Electoral Area C and the Town of Oliver for lands within the boundary of the town.

An Evacuation Alert prepares residents to evacuate the area should an Evacuation Order be issued. As much advance notice as possible will be provided prior to an Evacuation Order, however you may receive limited notice due to changing conditions.

BC Wildfire Service (BCWS), the RDOS and the Town of Oliver are actively assessing the situation and should conditions deteriorate, Evacuation Orders may be issued.

Please see the list of addresses and map below for the RDOS Alert area and for the Town of Oliver alert area.
