Electoral Area G Official Community Plan
The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) has initiated planning and preparation of the first official community plan (OCP) for Electoral Area G (Rural Keremeos). An OCP provides guidance and policies on a broad range of topics, including land use, transportation, housing, parks, and infrastructure.

An OCP is developed through public consultation and professional planning practices. Once drafted, an OCP must be adopted by the Regional District Board as an official bylaw. Annual Budget
The RDOS 2022 draft budget was presented for second reading at the February 17, 2022 Board meeting. Third reading and adoption is scheduled for Thursday, March 3, 2022. RDOS Board meetings
The RDOS Board of Directors meets twice per month, managing both rural and corporate government issues. Many public meetings, including RDOS board meetings, are being held electronically and are available to view online. The next RDOS Board meeting takes place Thursday, March 3, 2022. The 2022 schedule of meetings and agendas and Webex link are posted on the RDOS website.
