Climate Action Resources
The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) has partnered with Properate.io to help homeowners plan for and implement effective cost-saving energy solutions. The RDOS is launching a pilot project with Properate.io beginning May 2022. Properate provides a home energy evaluation and home upgrade reports for RDOS residents and property owners. To access the online tool, please visit rdos.properate.io For more information, please call RDOS Senior Energy Specialist Jeremy Dresner at 250-490-4382 or email jdresner@rdos.bc.ca.

Regional Recreation Program Guide
The RDOS Regional Recreation Program Guide for the spring season is available online. The guide features a wide range of events and programs, including soccer, yoga, pickleball, dance, and ukulele. To create an account with PerfectMind, the new RDOS program registration and online booking software, please visit rec.rdos.bc.ca.

Dogs and Regional Parks and Trails
Dog waste bags are provided as a courtesy at most RDOS regional parks and along sections of the Kettle Valley Rail (KVR) Trail. In a few isolated cases, individuals have removed a large number of bags at one time, leaving the dispensers empty. Please take only what you need during your visit. If you notice a dispenser is empty, please contact the RDOS. It’s important to note, dog waste and dog waste bags are not allowed in yard waste containers. Plastics labelled biodegradable or compostable, including dog waste bags, are not accepted in yard waste collection.

Keeping you informed about RDOS projects and initiatives is a priority. For further information, please call 250-492-0237 or email info@rdos.bc.ca.

The RDOS Board of Directors meets twice per month (Thursdays), managing both rural and corporate government issues. The 2022 schedule of meetings and agendas and Webex links are posted on the RDOS website.
