The RDOS continues to provide support and resource information to residents and property owners who have been impacted by flooding. The RDOS will request community input later in the year to gather feedback on how to improve transit service operations in the Greater West Bench area. “Community feedback will help the RDOS and BC Transit ensure community needs are being met,” says Electoral Area F Director Riley Gettens. Transit poles and signage will be installed at bus stop locations throughout the community. The new Route 11 West Bench/Penticton service will cost $2.25 per trip, with additional discount fare options including monthly passes and sets of tickets available at the RDOS office at 101 Martin Street in Penticton.
