Information Release

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) continues to operate with limited access to its internal system network and email services. An attempted ransomware attack last week required Information Services staff to isolate the network and take email, Internet and other services offline. 

Vendor payments and automatic withdrawals may be delayed. Customers with utility accounts on pre-authorized payment plans have not had payments withdrawn at this time. There is currently no estimated time for resumption of these services. Daily information system updates will be posted on the RDOS website under Hot Topics.
