Refund and Returns

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen processes credit card payments for all fees and fines within one (1) business day of receipt. All Regional District fees and fines are non-refundable, and non-transferable.

Fees submitted as part of the license application or license renewal process are processing fees and are not refundable. Be certain that you intend to complete the process before submitting your payment. If you have any questions regarding your eligibility, please call the Regional District at 250-492-0237 (toll free 1-877-610-3737). Processing of license applications or license renewals begins within two (2) business days after the payment is processed.

Data request fees cover the cost of processing and are not refundable. Data requests are fulfilled within five (5) business days after the payment is processed. Please allow 10 business days for processing and shipment.

If an error has been made in your payment, contact the Regional District to request a review of your account. If the Regional District determines an error was made on its behalf, a refund will be processed as a credit to your credit card account within 10 working days.
