Okanagan Falls

Situated in British Columbia, Okanagan Falls is located in the south-central region, collectively known as the Okanagan Valley. It is renowned the world over as one of the most pleasant areas in Canada in which to live. The valley is the northern extension of the Colorado River basin, and forms a temperate desert area in Canada. Most of the South Okanagan area falls within the jurisdiction of the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen, which includes the City of Penticton. These factors contribute to the superb quality of life and great place to work, live, play and invest.

The South Okanagan has become a prime residential and business relocation area due to the gentle climate, quality of life, magnificent scenery, recreational opportunities and the progressive attitude towards economic development.

South Okanagan Chamber of Commerce

A non-profit business association, composed of individuals, professionals, large and small businesses, and organizations, established to promote economic prosperity and community pride in the communities of Okanagan Falls, Oliver and Osoyoos.

An action-oriented organization dedicated to making the communities strong and vibrant. A ready resource to assist you with every phase of your business development through the experience of 350+ members and helpful staff. The gateway to valuable information on all aspects of business such as legal and labour updates, government programs, community; events, etc.

The front door to the area for new residents and visitors., assisting approximately 25,000 people in 2007 with their inquiries in person and by phone and email. As a strong, unified voice, can impact the decision-making process at the various levels of government pertaining to matters of business, taxation, policy, etc.

Have a strong presence in local organizations and events such as the Festival of the Grape and the April Wine Festival, working to build a sense of unity and enthusiasm for the communities in which we live and our business community prospers.

Located in the Okanagan Valley in the interior of British Columbia, Penticton offers the amenities of a larger urban centre yet maintains all the benefits of an uncongested, serene location.

With a greater population of 43,313 the City of Penticton has a strong commitment to economic development. Incentives, zoning, and investments in infrastructure are strategically aimed to create success for businesses and deliver economic returns to the city.

The Penticton Economic Development office works with the City of Penticton, Penticton and Wine Country Tourism and Chamber, and the local First Nation, the Penticton Indian Band, to implement strategies that strengthen the local economy.

The Summerland Chamber of Economic Development & Tourism is a very active local Chamber whose mandate is to encourage people to visit Summerland, and to encourage people to want to live and work here. The Chamber holds many special events where guest speakers will keep you up to date on activities within the community and at the Chamber.
