| The purpose of Bylaw No. 2466, 2008 and Bylaw No. 2467, 2008 is to establish the Venables Auditorium Grant-in-Aid Service in the Town of Oliver and Electoral Area 'C' to provide a one-time Grant-in-Aid to School District No. 53 (Okanagan-Similkameen) for the purposes of capital upgrades to the Venables Auditorium, to authorize the borrowing of a sum not to exceed $3,800,000 for the Grant-in-Aid and to annually requisition up to a maximum of $370,000 or $0.36/$1,000 of net taxable land and improvements to repay the borrowing for the one-time Grant-in-Aid. |
