Regional District’s are not required to produce an annual report, however; Part 4, Division 5 of the Community Charter lays out a requirement for municipalities to produce an annual municipal report.

To increase accountability and celebrate Regional Board and staff successes the RDOS has taken a proactive approach by preparing an annual report, which includes the following:

• a report on the RDOS’ services and operations for the previous year;
• a progress report on the performance of the Regional District with respect to established objectives and measures, and;
• a statement of objectives and measures that will be used as the basis for determining the RDOS’ performance during the current year and following year.
